How does pH influence hair health?

To understand the relationship between pH and hair health, it is important to know what it means and how it works. pH is a numerical scale that indicates the acidity, neutrality or alkalinity of a substance or element.

It has a scale that goes from 0 to 14, being the value from 0 to 6.9 acid; 7.0 neutral and from 7.1 to 14 is considered as alkaline. In hair, the pH influences the opening of the hair scales.

The natural pH of healthy hair is acid and revolves around 4.5 and 5.5. When this value is unbalanced and becomes more alkaline, the hair cuticles open, which results in the alteration of the hair structure, making the hair porous, fragile and brittle.

After every chemical process it is necessary to keep the pH of the hair balanced, taking it to its natural and healthy state.

For the balance of the pH of the hair, we indicate our pH stabilizing and regulating masks.

You can use: Bio Tanix Repair Mask, Impact Mask, Maximus Mask, among others. For the home care line, we have: Bio Tanix Restoring, Bio Tanix Repair Mask, Hydra Mask, among others.

The ideal is to use the stabilizing mask every 21 days!
